Located in Fulton, Illinois, we serve the communities of Albany, Fulton, and Garden Plain. We have a great staff, great students, and we work hard to keep our high school one of the best in the area. We offer many educational opportunities for our students. Students have the opportunity to take classes at Morrison Institute of Technology, Whiteside Area Career Center, Sauk Valley Community College, and Clinton Community College. We focus on preparing our students for future success in college and careers!

FHS Staff, Students and Families,

We are looking forward to a wonderful 2024-25 school year. We are excited to be leading the building again as I’m entering my second year as the Principal at Fulton High School. Ray Borgman will be the new Assistant Principal/Athletic Director. Kathleen will return to the district Curriculum Director and will be at the HS. Together we will make a great team and look forward to leading FHS. The River Bend District has been an incredible place for our family. We look forward to impacting staff, students and our community as I start my 33rd year in education. If you can't find me in the FHS office, I'll be interacting with staff and students throughout the building or attending an event our students are participating in. I will make sure that doesn't change in my 3rd year in the River Bend District. I am going to continue building relationships within the River Bend Communities, this is a special place. I look forward to continuing a tradition of greatness by expanding upon a culture that will support all staff, students and community. I believe the River Bend Schools and Fulton High School are one of the best in the area and state wide.

I am thrilled to be working with Ray Borgman as our new Assistant Principal/Athletic Director. Ray is beginning his 25th year in education, his first year as Assistant Principal/Athletic Director at FHS. After graduating from Elmhurst College in 2000, Ray began his teaching career at Alden-Hebron where he taught 6-12 PE and Health and coached a variety of sports. After 4 years there, he took a PE/Health position in Sycamore to be closer to his now wife, Brianne. While at Sycamore, Ray completed his master’s degree in Educational Leadership at Aurora University. Ray and Brianne have 2 children, Jonathan (17) and William (14). “Once a Steamer, always a Steamer,” Ray is a 1995 graduate of Fulton High School and is excited to return home.
