CLASSROOM PROCEDURES

1. Bring all materials and books to class

2. Sharpen pencils prior to bell

3. Turn in assignments in appropriate trays

4. Check for missing assignments in absent folders

5. Quietly take your seat and begin “BellWork”

HOMEWORK POLICY (3 strikes policy)

1. First missed assignment of quarter – use homework pass – assignment due following day.

2. Second missed assignment of quarter – note home to parent, must be returned next day signed and student must turn in COMPLETED assignment with the note to parent.

3. Third missed assignment of quarter – Detention and zero on assignment.  Detentions must be signed by parent and returned to teacher the following day!

Every missed assignment thereafter during that quarter will result in a zero on the work.  At the beginning of the next quarter, the policy starts over.

CLASSROOM RULES OF BEHAVIOR

1. Be PREPARED for class

2. LISTEN when someone is talking

3. Be RESPECTFUL of others

4. Be CONSIDERATE of others’ feelings

5. NO Fighting, Cheating, Bullying, Harassing, Touching, Pushing, Tardiness or Inappropriate language.

WHAT DO I DO NEXT? ACTIVITIES

1. Work on unfinished assignment for other subjects.

2.  Complete bell work questions for all classes.

3.  Read AR book

4. Write your spelling words 3 times each

5. Practice multiplication facts

6. Organize your subject folders and binder

7. Re-read textbook material and prepare for test

Howdy folks!!

WELCOME BACK!!!  

As we start a new year, I would like to  remind students and parents that education is an asset for your future.   I am here to help you gain the knowledge that will allow you to become whatever you desire.   Please let me know if I can help you in anyway.

I am still very new at this web page business, however, I will try to keep you informed regarding assignments and expectations on a weekly basis.  I will provide daily lesson plans and assignments updated weekly, and have added links to sites used in science and history classes.  Please note that the Science book, as well as the History book are  available online.  

Powerschool is also available from my web page. 

Hopefully this will be helpful for your organizational needs but if there is something that you would like added please let me know.    LET’S HAVE A GREAT YEAR!!!  :  )
