Homework
Homework is an important part of your child’s learning. Students will be assigned homework throughout the week, as an extension to the lessons taught each day. Your child will be given some time in class to work on homework however, what is not completed in class should be done at home. All homework should be turned in the following school day unless otherwise noted (as in the case of book reports and other projects). Please check your child’s agenda for notes and to see what assignments are due the following day.
Only homework that is handed in on time will receive full points. Late homework will have one point deducted for each day it is late. In the case of an absence, the assignments that are make-up work will be given to the student when he or she returns to school or when the work is requested. The assignments will then be due within five days from when the student returns from absence.
