Clinton Community College Science Expo
30 science students from Fulton High School ventured to Clinton Community College to partake in their science expo. Students had the opportunity to meet with the college’s faculty and staff, learn about the college and the programs they offer, and also participate in a laboratory experiments with the professors in both chemistry and physics.

The word “science” probably brings to mind many different pictures: a fat textbook, white lab coats and microscopes, an astronomer peering through a telescope, a naturalist in the rainforest, Einstein’s equations scribbled on a chalkboard, the launch of the space shuttle, bubbling beakers …. All of those images reflect some aspect of science, but none of them provides a full picture because science has so many facets. Science explains and demystifies the world through the objective of gathering and analyzing data. In science classes you will explore the natural world, engineering, space, technology, physics, chemistry and even supernatural phenomena.
