Reading
Students will be working on the following items in reading with me:
Fluency- They will be given a passage that they will read repeatedly throughout the week. By the end of the week, the student should have increased their words per minute.
Dolch words- The students are given a set of flashcards with sight words on them. The students are to be practicing them at home.
Brand Name Phonics- The students are learning phonics through items that they can find in the store. Then they get to play a relay game after each sound is learned.
AR- Students need to be checking out AR books. They should be reading several books a week.
