The focus of this course is American literature. Students will explore the evolution of literature and language beginning with the Puritans all the way through the Modern age. Grammar and writing skills will be reviewed and enhanced. Papers, quizzes, tests, and projects will be used to assess learning. In addition, we will spend time preparing for the PSAE/ACT exam.
