What is Title I Reading?  It is a federally funded program to assist students who are below grade level in reading and language arts.

Who qualifies for Title I services?  Students are placed in the Title I Reading program based on Reading assessments, teacher input and classroom performance.

How do students receive Title I services?  Title I teachers work in each of the K-5 classrooms every day during the Guided Reading block, helping to provide small group instruction to all students.  Students who struggle meet with the Title I teacher for additional instruction and practice in a small group of 4-6 at another time during the day.
