Headings:

Everything that is turned in should include your Spanish name, last name, block, and name of assignment (page numbers and activities).

Homework:

Homework is a large part of your overall grade.  Most of the time homework will be checked for completeness, but some assignments will be collected.  When I check for completeness, I will usually award points for each section that is complete.  In order to receive points for a section, it must be completely finished in the correct form.  Zeros will NOT be tolerated.  Half credit will be given for late homework.

Homework Grade:

On every progress report and report card you will be given a homework grade of S or U that is separate from your letter grade.  Homework grades determine whether you are able to go to Student Center and for freshmen it will also determine whether you get to take part in the 1st & 2nd semester incentives.  In order to receive an S in this class, you may only have one late homework grade.

Classroom Work:

I will frequently allow you to work on activities and assignments in class.  When doing work in class with a partner or a group you should be working together on the same activity.  Copying will result in a “0″ for each person involved.

Make-up Work:

See me the day you return from an absence to discuss when your make-up work is due.  You will be expected to take any previously announced tests or quizzes the day you return.  If you only miss one day, you still need to have the homework completed when you return to class.
